3-Axis Plug-&-Play DC Accelerometer Modules
Triaxial MEMS Variable Capacitive Accelerometers from Silicon Designs (SDI) are low-cost, integrated plug-and-play measurement devices. They are available in four unique series models, each suitable for zero-to-medium frequency commercial and industrial applications, and particularly, where reliable performance, extremely low noise, and long-term stability are absolute requirements.
Each SDI triaxial accelerometer module features three orthogonally mounted low noise hermetic accelerometers within a single, rugged, epoxy sealed, anodized aluminum case. Onboard voltage regulation and an internal voltage reference eliminate the need for precision power supplies. They are relatively insensitive to temperature changes and gradients and are available in two temperature ranges for maximum value and performance.
SDI's Family of Universal Triaxial Modules
Silicon Designs has made a family of four triaxial modules that are simple to use and virtually interchangeable, yet diverse enough to be suitable for the majority of applications. All four models accept anything from +8 to +32V DC power, supply differential or single ended outputs, and use a simple 8 wire cable. The 2460 and 2470 have integrated 3' cables and the 2466 and 2476 feature sturdy connectors for versatile cable lengths and easy replacement.
A great number of applications only involve moderate temperatures but still demａnd SDI's high quality accelerometers. Rather than require customers to pay for features they don't need, the low-cost 2460 and 2466 support these -40 to +85°C applications without sacrificing performance and reliability.
When demands increase, the high performance 2470 and 2476 will step up with -55 to +125°C operation and improved Bias Temperature Shift and Scale Factor Temperature Shift. Additional testing ensures customers receive only the best accelerometers, and initial calibration certificates detailing this upgraded performance are included with every part.

SDI's Specialty Triaxial Modules
Sometimes special applications require a special touch. The 2422 and 2480 are SDI's specialty triaxial accelerometers for those extraordinary circumstances that need just a little more than everyone else.
SDI's Model 2422 supports applications with limited power available, requiring only +5V DC. It's the ideal solution when power is scarce but the demands are still high.
SDI's Model 2480 is the heavy duty bulldozer of accelerometers. The high temperature and high performance components of the 2476 are sealed inside a hermetic titanium case for times when the worst-case-scenario becomes reality.
